GlycodeX® GlycodeX is a unique combination of Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin (HBCD) Dextrin® Cluster y waxy maize starch enriched by NOP-47 ™y PepForm ™ Matrix 1: 1.
Dextrin® Cluster is produced from amylopectin by using a cyclisation reaction with a branched enzyme. The result is a glucose polymer with ideal properties such as: very low osmolality of around 150 mOsm with a relatively high molecular weight, meaning that the solution of HBCD will spend less time in the stomach compared to traditional carbohydrates and therefore reduce discomfort when ingested during exercise.
Waxy maize starch is naturally rich in the high molecular weight glucose polymer AMYLOPECTIN, high in highly absorbent branched polysaccharides and also quickly replenishes your energy reserves. In addition, waxy maize starch in GlycodeX® PRO has a very low osmolarity.
NOP-47™ is a protein peptide that widens the blood vessels helping to drive nutrients more quickly and efficiently through the bloodstream. NOP-47 facilitates the activity of nitric oxide synthase (NOS), the enzyme that converts arginine to nitric oxide.
PepForm™ Matrix 2:1:1 is a revolutionary peptide development technology designed to improve the solubility and absorption of bioactives, including BCAAs. PepForm also significantly increases the bioavailability of amino acids, with improved efficiency and absorption, such as leucine.
The Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after very intense and/or long-lasting physical exercise, which leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of muscle glycogen stores.
The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming carbohydrates, from various sources, with a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, in several intakes, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours after intense and/or long duration physical exercise in order to avoid muscle fatigue and depletion of muscle glycogen levels.
