GlycoDeX PURE is a food supplement recommended for sportsmen and women involved in intense and prolonged physical activity.
Cluster Dextrin® is produced from amylopectin through the use of an cyclisation with a branched enzyme. The result is a glucose polymer with ideal properties such as: very low osmolality around 150 mOsm with a relatively high molecular weight, signores that the solution of HBCD will spend less time in the stomach compared to traditional carbohydrates and will therefore reduce discomfort when ingested during exercise.
The Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after very intense and/or long-lasting physical exercise, which leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of muscle glycogen stores.
The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming carbohydrates, from various sources, with a total intake of 4 g per kg of body weight, in several intakes, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours after intense and/or long duration physical exercise in order to avoid muscle fatigue and depletion of muscle glycogen levels.
This new class of carbohydrate-based supplements, defined as "designer glucose polymers", or cyclodextrins highly branched (HBCD ), is the next evolutionary step for the various carbohydrate-based products on the market.
