L-Leucine is a key essential amino acid, being one of the three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), along with isoleucine and valine. These amino acids are essential for protein synthesis and play a crucial role in physical performance, especially in athletes.
This amino acid is vital for the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, as it promotes nitrogen balance in the body, supports muscle recovery after exercise and protects tissues from degradation. BCAAs, which include L-Leucine, are responsible for approximately one third of the protein present in muscles, helping to improve anabolism and prevent muscle wasting.
Recommended daily dose: 4 capsules
Instructions for use: Take 2 capsules twice a day with 250 ml of water, one of the intakes after physical activity.
